| Purchased from Kevin Poe in 2008. Now has 170,944 miles (as of January, 2012). Restored to stock condition except for Korman suspension and European-style ellipsoid headlights + PIAA lamps. Speedometer came back to life when O2 sensor was replaced (three techs missed that). Dr ColorChip ($59) repaired road rash, thereby avoiding a $3,000 re-paint. I have probably spent as much on repairs and updating past-due maintenance as my original purchase price. Planning a headliner replacement (Alcantara), plus rebuild of transmission and differential due to minor leaks. I never use the radio. |
